Encrypted in transit and at rest
Every request runs over HTTPS/TLS, and stored records sit on managed infrastructure with encryption at rest enabled by default.
Your data is yours alone
Row-level security ties every mood entry, journal note, and program record to your account. No other user — and no public visitor — can read your rows.
What we store
Your account email, mood check-ins, journal entries you save, and which programs you've started. Chat sessions stay in memory for the current session unless you save them.
What we never do
We don't sell your data, we don't run advertising profiles on it, and we don't share your entries with third parties for marketing.
How the AI uses your messages
Your message is sent to our AI provider to generate a reply, then returned to you. It is not used to train foundation models. Only the current conversation is included as context.
Deletion on request
Ask us to delete your account and we remove your profile, mood history, and journal entries. Session-only chats disappear when you close the tab.
Compliance & responsibilities
Lumamind is a wellbeing companion, not a medical device or a healthcare provider. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity and we do not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA certification. Where privacy law gives you rights over your data — such as access, correction, and erasure — we honour those requests. This page is maintained by the Lumamind team and describes current practice; it is not an independent audit or certification.
